Realism is the foundation. Black ink, negative space, collage and graphic structure reshape the image.

Moussa is based in Shanghai at SINKTATTOO. His practice moves from large-scale black and grey realism to micro realism and single needle detail, exploring the relationship between graphic forms and the body through blackwork.

Originally from Yunnan, Moussa learned at Guishou Tattoo. In 2021, SmartShanghai’s Art Book feature covered his background and black-and-white portrait work.
